It's a little late, but what else is there to say? Thanks to a wonderful mom, we were able to go to Disneyland.
It was a great time. Evidently the secret to getting Abby to take naps is to wear her out from 8a -10a and then walk around Disneyland.
We had a great time. And the character breakfast with Minnie was totally worth it. They even, upon learning I couldn't eat gluten, made me gluten free breakfast food. It was fabulous.

The poop puddle and the dairy.
Jon's family owns a dairy. Really his Uncle Carl does. So while we were in Idaho we went to visit.
It turns out that while Abby loves the cows, the cows don't like people. It might have something to do with having to get hooked to the milking machine when they see people. I wouldn't like people either in that case.
But the dairy also had horses we got to feed. We tried to feed the calves but they didn't want treats from people. Some disliked us south they ran into their little houses when my kids tried to pet them.
There's also a poop pond at the dairy. It's water that I run through the pile of poop that the cows make. It's really gross looking. Nicholas thought it was just the thing to throw rocks into because it made splashes o brown water. I just wanted to avoid him falling in.
The dairy also had dogs. That was Abby's favorite part of the dairy. And in the absence of sand, my children insisted on building gravel castles in the driveway.
At the end of the day we had a little water fight. I had the hose so I won. But Jon did manage to soak me with the buckets of water. Nicholas informed me that he wouldn't get his dad wet because Rey were a team and they had to get me wet. I used this as an opportunity to pull out the soap and give them baths outside. We were already wet. We might as well be clean.

Did I mention that we went to Utah and Idaho?
We've been traveling this summer. We went to Virginia Beach and DC in June and then Utah and Idaho in July. They were awesome trips.
I learned that no matter how many clothes you take for the kids you still will have to do laundry. Impromptu family water fights are a blast. Family car rides are a pain because the diaper wearing child will poop right after the rest stop in the middle of the desert. I don't like long car rides, although they aren't too bad. I also learned that searching for cows and horses will keep Abby occupied in a pinch.

Adventures of the ping-pong table.
So we did lots of things recently, but the one that is sticking in my mind was the horrible drive with the ping pong table.
I checked the dimensions before I bought it and it would fit in my car. But when I went to get it, nope, it didn't fit. So I had to buy some rope at the store and tie it down. Never again will I drive with something on the roof of my car like that. It was horrible.
I had to go 25 the whole way from the Palladio in Folsom to home - a drive that takes about 20 minutes normally. It took me a long time - an hour to be exact.
My husband better like his birthday present because I'm never doing something like this again. Next time I'll just pay the $165.00 shipping fee and let it be. Grrr.
